Horizon Rani
Launched in 2008, she has the features and capacity to cater to guests who need a deluxe boat.
With 20 years experience to take you to where the action is - the Blue Horizon and Rani Yacht has the capacity to cruise all the traditional tourist atolls and additional new atolls in the Maldives.
Accommodation
Rani has a total accommodation capacity of 22 guests. However we limit up to 20 guests to maintain quality over quantity. On board are comfortable and spacious double bed or twin bed cabins with private hold and cold water showers and each cabin has individually controllable air conditioning and lighting.
Food and Drinks
For breakfast a choice of bread, egg or cheese, jam, juice, tea or coffee and our chef’s "Local Special" from time to time will be available. For lunch varying menus of pasta, rice with seafood or meat with salads and dessert will be served. A snack break at five o’clock with tea or coffee with sweet snacks and sandwiches. And finally for the dinner menu consists of a three-course continental and local dishes ending with tea or coffee. Also onboard is a well equipped bar serving special cocktails, whiskey, cognac, champagne, wine and beer for extra charge.
Scuba Diving
On our scuba diving trips are arranged for 2 different groups, for those who like to relax and enjoy Maldives we arrange 2 dives a day but for those who are more into diving we arrange 3 dives a day. And 1 night dive per week. All dives are arrange from our special support Dhoni (smaller diving equipped boat). Our diving cruises visit the best diving locations in the Maldives of the season available within the period of booked tour (7 days or 10 days or 14 days) giving you breathtaking underwater tours that we are known for. Accompanying our guests on our tours will be two tour director and scuba dive masters.
Activities
Regular on board activities include sports fishing trips with a special "dhoni" (smaller fishing or diving equipped boat), visiting local fishing villages, resort islands and reefs and shallows ideal for snorkeling and beach combing.
Facilities
Rani is equipped with a Jacuzzi and on board Spa services. Onboard entertainment electronics gear include DVD players, PAL/NTSC video playback, television, hi-fi stereo system and indoor board games. Electricity configuration is 220v/50Hz EU standard (with 2 silent generators). Rani's safety and navigation systems include GPS, compass, life jackets and buoys, 5 meter support dinghy with motor, telephone, CB radio and diving safety supplies.
Vessel Specification
Rani is poweered by a silent 480Hp DOOSAN Daewoo engine. Rani is 35 meters in length and 10 meters in beam. On board crew includes the captain, skipper, chef, su-chef, bartender, house keeping personnel and one deck hands personnel. A separate 16 meter support vessel (Dhoni as known locally) with 3 on-board crew members accompany Rani in all cruises.
