Male' and Central Atolls Cruise
This dive tour is considered one of the most popular and classic itineraries. One can experience the whole range of the Maldivian variety of aquatic species - from corals to big fish alike.
Cruise A
Male', North Male' Atoll, Rasdhoo, Ari Atoll, South Male' Atoll and back to Male'.
Starting from Male we're bound for the Rasdhoo Atoll and the first dive will be at Madivaru Corner with an overnight stay in the atoll interior. The following day we will dive at Big Blue (hammerhead sharks). The next stop takes us to the Ari atoll where you will have the opportunity to dive the best sites of this fascinating atoll - 3 to 4 dive days with Whale sharks, gray and white tip reef sharks, mantas, tilas with abundant fish life and excellent soft coral spots. We continue on to the South Male atoll (sharks, eagle rays, channels) and then return to Male'.
Cruise B
Male', South Male', Felidhoo, Mulaku and Male'.
Departing from Male' towards the South Male' atoll, you will first hit the water at an easy to dive shipwreck. Usually the night will be spent inside the lagoon of Guraidhoo in South Male' Atoll, where the next planned dive will happen at Guraidhoo Corner (channel with sharks) or at one of the pretty tilas.
Depending on seasonal and current conditions the yacht will cruise the east side of Felidhoo/Mulaku atolls where wonderful channels with great visibility and loads of sharks, eagle rays, napoleons, tunas and barracudas awaiting the divers.
This itinerary is best when the east wind brings clear waters to these atolls. It is the ideal time to drift dive the channels as well as lively reefs with fantastic coral growth.
Cruise C
Male', North Male' Atoll, Gaafaru, Lhaviyani Atoll, Noonu Atoll and Male'.
With season and prevalent currents in mind we depart from Male' either towards the west or east side of the North Male' atoll - with one thing in mind: mantas!
Furthermore we will visit outstanding shark spots and breathtaking tilas. The small and rarely frequented Gaafaru atoll offers diving at a nearly unknown shipwreck, sunken in 1872.
The Lhaviyani atoll has a reputation for exciting channels (sharks, napoleons, eagle rays) and a beautifully overgrown shipwreck. Great variety is the trademark of this dive tour: mantas, sharks, wonderful tilas, exciting channels, wrecks and colorful coral reefs. These atolls are rarely visited by safari boats.
Cruise D
Male', North Male' Atoll, Baa Atoll, Raa Atoll and Male' Atoll.
Located more in the far west of the Maldives, the Baa and Raa atolls offer reefs with giant colonies of brilliant yellow soft corals. Giris and tilas provide excellent conditions for a multicolored plentitude of reef fish, and with a bit of luck you may encounter a female Grey Reef shark with her offspring. On our return trip to Male' across the North Male' atoll we dive with mantas, and currents allowing, with impressive gray reef sharks accompanied by a large school of eagle rays.
